The NavTrac SLT

The NavTrac SLT is a third generation WiFi GPS module that integrates a low signal strength GPS receiver with an 802.11 transmitter to provide location broadcasts over WiFi.

The NavTrac SLT can be embedded or packaged in any device needing to broadcast its location to tracking units equipped with 802.11 receivers. Using the unique capabilities of the CW20 GPS receiver, the NavTrac SLT does not need to have a clear view of the sky to attain GPS lock and accurate postion information. The embedded 802.11b/g transmitter supports WPA2 encryption and is fully configurable to custom network settings.

Potential applications for the NavTrac SLT include asset tracking, fleet management, remote monitor sensing, and safety & security.

Ekahau Option

Seamless Indoor and Outdoor Tracking

NavSync, working in collaboration with Ekahau has developed a communication platform that leverages the expertise of both companies. The NavTrac SLT provides precision location information in areas where GPS signals are available, such as most outdoor enviornments. With the integration of Ekahau's RTLS software, the NavTrac SLT is able to continue accurate asset tracking over a Wi-Fi network.

Ekahau provides the most accurate Wi-FI based location tracking solution on the market. It is a software based solution that delivers a one to three meter accuracy in a nominal environment. The EPE is designed to be used as either a stand-alone 802.11 positioning system or integrated within a third party tracking application.

With the incorporation of the Ekahau software into the NavTrac SLT, NavSync is able to offer a complete indoor and outdoor tracking solution.
