Certifications

Connor-Winfield and its subsidiaries have many certifications and works within the guidelines of compliance to those certifications.

Connor-Winfield is ISO Certified, WBE Certified, ITAR Registered and RoHS Compliant.

Additionally, we have our own Environmental Mission Statement which details our commitment to conducting corporate business in a globally responsible manner.

 

ISO Certification

Janus' parent company, Connor-Winfield achieved initial ISO 9001 Certification in 1995 with ISO 9001:2000 in January 2004. By maintaining an ISO 9001 Quality System Certification, continuous improvement to our processes is a commitment we make to constantly go beyond the expectations of our customers.

WBE (Women's Business Enterprise) is an independent business concern that is at least 50% owned and managed by one of more women who are US citizens; whose business formation and principal place of business is in the US or its territories; and whose management and daily operation is controlled by one of more of the women owners.

ITAR Registered

Parent company, Connor-Winfield is ITAR (International Traffic in Arms) Registered. Any person and/or company who engages in the United States in the business of either manufacturing or exporting defense articles or furnishing defense services is required to register with the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.

Reduction of Hazardous Substances Directive

Four years prior to the European Union's Directive 2002/95/EC passing, Connor-Winfield began the transition to RoHS compliant manufacturing as an evironmentally driven program. As a global manufacturer, our components effect the US and worldwide markets. Our commitment to insuring safe and compliant products is an ongoing initiative for our management and design engineers.
